According to CNN, a mother had filed a complaint against Jerry Sandusky after she learned that he had showered with her son.
According to testimony, the officer that responded to the complaint had asked for charges to be brought against Sandusky at the time, but the prosecutors rejected his request.
Apparently, the police instructed the boy's mother to invite Sandusky over to her house. During that time, the police were hiding in another room to see what Sandusky had to say. During the second entrance in the house, Sandusky asked the mother for forgiveness.
Sandusky skirted by because prosecutors felt there wasn't enough to convict him on anything; they felt it was inappropriate, but it wasn't enough to file charges.
All of this has come out in testimony during the Sandusky trial, and so far there have been 10 victims. The testimony has been so damning for Sandusky that even the judge feels that a conviction will be quick.

Egyptian Parliament is No More
CNN.com is reporting that the Egyptian parliament has been dissolved by the highest court in Egypt and that the Armed Forces of Egypt have taken full control of the country.
CNN has also said that the Armed Forces will be putting together 100 people to rewrite the Egyptian Constitution and this is supposed to occur on Friday.
All of this is an attempt to prevent the old regime from taking power. In a democratic stance, the high court has ruled that they will not ban old members of the regime from running for President, but that the opposition will need to be on top of their game in order to prevent another regime like the one that was just ousted.
